The great griffin

A look back at our chandelier, Le Grand Griffon, made to order for an American client. The Grand Griffon is inspired by the 19th century Napoleon III style with its eagle heads. We had to take inspiration from an existing chandelier of 60 centimetres to create one 4 metres high and 2 metres wide. In a few figures, here is the time required to create this majestic chandelier: - 52 skylights: the glass structures are blown and made by hand - 500 kg of bronze: for this we had to create a specific chain which was tested in laboratories to check and ensure its safety.
