Delphine Gobourg and Rémy Garnier have a long history. Portrait.

It was at the age of 13 that Delphine pushed open the doors of the company for an observation period. But she had always dreamed of working for Rémy Garnier: her mother, Ghislaine, works in the workshop, carrying out several stages of production such as patina, assembly and welding.

Before actually arriving at Rémy Garnier, she worked as an au pair and seasonal worker in vacation clubs in the Hérault region of France. As she explains, "I've been able to see a lot of the country, travel and meet a lot of people. I'm a people person and I love to talk".

"Rémy Garnier, it's my destiny".

2006, the year Delphine joined Rémy Garnier's workforce to replace another employee who was off sick. She began to prove herself in the workshop "just like Mom": assembly, welding and patina. "I wanted to do as well as she did," she says.

She soon became an order picker. Today, she's in charge of logistics, working in close collaboration with the workshop, suppliers and customers - a very versatile role, as she likes it.

 Globe-trotter and cat lover

Although Rémy Garnier is her great passion, she also has two others.

She loves to travel: she likes to discover other traditions, new people and new countries. She particularly loved her trip to Egypt because "it was a real eye-opener, especially the famous pyramids. It was magical! She's looking forward to her next trip, to the Greek islands.

Another passion: her cats, "her pépères", as she calls them. She loves arriving home after a day's work, and the ceremonial begins: cuddles, purrs and they become one with Delphine for the whole evening.

She's also a great party girl... but that's a secret!
