On January 14th, NEWH network members discovered Maison Rémy Garnier and its Paris workshop.

The Maison opened its doors to a handful of privileged NEWH Paris members for a morning in early 2025.

Nicolas Merveilleux presented the company as a whole, highlighting its special features, including the invention of the Rémy Garnier espagnolette system. At the time, this system was a major technical innovation.

The NEWH collective then had the opportunity to discover the workshops, working alongside all the craftsmen and their different skills. Nicolas Merveilleux underlined the fact that Rémy Garnier is one of the few players in its sector today to master its entire production chain: from traditional sand casting to gilding.

The visit ended with a tour of the Maison's emblematic gallery, which showcases all the iconic pieces in its hardware collection: espagnolettes, knobs, lever handles...

The "wow" effect was there for all to see, and our visitors were amazed! All were passionate about the art of craftsmanship, and praised the quality of the visit.
